Rules Against Cheating on OriginsRO
At OriginsRO, we are committed to maintaining a fair and enjoyable gaming experience for all players. To ensure a level playing field, cheating of any kind is strictly prohibited. Violations of these rules will result in penalties, including possible account suspension or permanent bans. The following behaviors are not allowed: 1. Use of Third-Party Programs(with the exception of using OpenKore) - No scripts or macros: The use of any software that automates gameplay or assists in actions like grinding, farming, or combat is strictly prohibited. - No cheating tools or hacks: Any program or tool that alters game mechanics (e.g., speed hacks, auto-aim, or damage modifiers) is forbidden. 2. Exploiting Bugs or Glitches - No exploiting unintended game mechanics: If you discover a bug, glitch, or exploit, do not use it to gain an unfair advantage. Report it to the game administrators immediately. - Abuse of in-game mechanics: Using known bugs or glitches to farm, duplicate items, or engage in any unfair advantage is considered cheating. 3. Account Sharing - Your account is your responsibility. Always be careful with scammers and fraud transaction. - Max 2 accounts per household. Server will autokick more than 2 accounts. - No password sharing: Never share your account login information with anyone. The responsibility for your account and its activities remains solely with you. 4. Trading with Cheating or Hacked Items - No trading hacked or illegitimate items: If you receive an item or currency from a player who is caught cheating, you must report it. Accepting or trading hacked items or currency is considered an offense, and you will be held accountable. 5. Intentional Game Disruption - No intentional griefing: Cheating also includes actions meant to disrupt the enjoyment of others, such as intentionally sabotaging events, missions, or other players’ gameplay for personal gain. - No exploiting in PvP: In Player vs. Player (PvP) modes, any form of cheating to exploit or manipulate the system for unfair advantage is prohibited. This includes using exploits to gain unfair wins, or manipulating combat mechanics in ways not intended by the developers. 6. Impersonating Staff or Administrators - No impersonation of GM/Admins: You may not impersonate a Game Master (GM) or administrator. Doing so to deceive other players or gain access to restricted areas or commands will lead to serious consequences. 7. Manipulating Economy or Items - No duplication of items or currency: Any attempt to duplicate or artificially inflate the game economy (such as using cheats to duplicate items or currency) will result in a permanent ban. - No exploiting item or market bugs: If you find a market or economy bug, report it immediately instead of using it to exploit the system.
